Livio & Roby - Headz On / Out Of Bass BIOGRAPHY
The Fantastic House label is proud to unveil its first release for 2006, in the shape of two big, dirty, bold, and bassy, house tracks from Livio and Roby. These guys are a Fantastic House tip for the top, as they emerge from the exciting Eastern European house scene.During the last 5 years, Livio has been resident DJ at La Mania and the Kristal Club in Bucharest, During his tenure, Livio has opened for and impressive list of influential international DJs, such as: Sasha, John Digweed, Steve Lawler, Dave Seaman, Nick Warren, Nick Fanciulli, Lee Buridge, Erik Morillo, David Morales, Frankie Knuckles, Smoking Jo, Tom Stephan, Chus and Ceballos, Sander Kleinenberg and many more. He has been studiously learning his trade and educating himself the world of music under the big influence of Oliver Macgregor, Steve Lawler and the all the guys from the Plastic Fantastic team. In 2005, all his hard work started to pay off, as Livio was invited to play a warm-up set at Steve Lawler’s famous Harlem Nights party at The End in London in August 2005, which was followed by a guest appearance at The Gallery at Turnmills. With his undeniable talent, there will be more international recognition before long. On the production front, Livio began his studio productions with his very close friend and talented producer, Roby, in 2004. The music style Livio & Roby produce is best described as dirty, chunky, electronic house music. Both ‘Headz On’ and ‘Out Of Bass’ have been licensed to Steve Lawler’s ‘Lights Out 3’ compilation on Global Underground. In addtion, they have done remixes for labels such as Stereo. Audio Therapy, and Authorized Propaganda (ex Punk Rok(er) Jimmy Hill’s new label). Both Livio & Roby have a very big future in dance music for many years to come, that‘s for sure. FUTHER INFORMATION
